Terms and conditions

1. Accounts and organisations

• You must give accurate details and keep your credentials and two-factor recovery codes secure.
• The first person to register on a verified company email domain becomes the owner of that organisation and controls who else can join and with what role.
• Owners and directors are responsible for the access they grant to employees, agents and viewers.
• You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

2. Plans

Personal workspaces are free and provide the 12-month forecast, scenarios and daily breakdown. Team workspaces add collaboration, loans, actuals and invoice extraction, and may be chargeable. Where fees apply they are stated before you commit, are payable in pounds sterling and are exclusive of VAT unless stated. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content, or files containing malware.
• Do not attempt to access data belonging to organisations you are not a member of, or probe, scan or interfere with the Service.
• Do not resell, scrape or reverse engineer the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Do not use the Service to launder money, evade tax or commit fraud.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in the data and files you upload. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate the Service for you, including sending invoice PDFs to our AI provider for field extraction. You confirm you have the right to upload the content you add.

5. No financial advice

Profio is a forecasting and budgeting tool. Forecasts, AI predictions, scenarios and categorisation suggestions are estimates only and are not accounting, tax, investment or legal advice. Always check figures before relying on them and take professional advice for decisions that matter.

6. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and may change or withdraw features, giving reasonable notice for material changes.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, or £100 if the Service was free.

8. Suspension and cancellation

You may stop using the Service and delete your organisation at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where fees are unpaid. On termination we delete your data as set out in the privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: legal@profio.co.uk.
